Fix window 7 did not recognize enough the number thread of cpu  i7 7xxx. Because cpu i7 -7xxx is not support windows 7 or older. CPu Ryzen too. Well, for any stable builds and auto update turned off, or spend win 8.1

when i go into task manager it only shows four cores but there is no threads or it shows two cores and two threads. Quite a while back around september 2011 it had eight threads showing.

Its quite annoying because i can maximise preformance on the laptop if it is only utilizing two cores and two threads instead of four cores and four threads.

Method 1: Driver Booster scan settings then try to fix. If received, the luck is due entirely unsupported again had to be rough

Method 2: update to windows 10 for fix it.

Method 3: if have problem with another i7  as:

 

the remedy is very simple we simply press Windows + R type msconfig in the Boot tab Advanced options section tick in the number processors …. leave or pick up the maximum number of streams that CPU
okey and then just reboot everything is back to normal

1Do a Ctrl + Shift + Esc. This will open the Windows Task Manager. Once you are here, go to Performance. Now you should see many boxes in the CPU Usage History section which will identify how many cores you have. This will include hyper threaded cores also.
