How to fix Google maps website crashes in Safari. Running iOS 14.2 iPad Air 2. Available memory 7Gb. Works fine in Chrome. as soon as I start typing a search the site crashes.
Fix : Go to “SETTINGS” > “SAFARI” > “PRIVACY & SECURITY” AND TURN OFF “PREVENT CROSS-SITE TRACKING”

…AS IT’S WAS AN UNINTENDED ATTEMPT IN FAILING TO NAVIGATE OTHERS THROUGH THE SHORT COMINGS OF CONFLICTING TECHNOLOGIES.
I have been having exactly the same problem. It doesn’t matter whether I go to the Google page and select the maps option or click on a map link on a company website. The Google map page loads, crashes, loads again and then permanently crashes. So frustrating.
All the fixes I read talk about loading the app, but I don’t see how that is a fix.
