Error: Checking media presence -The BIOS boots to the NIC

Error: Checking media presence -The BIOS boots to the NIC. My laptop (AW 17R4) wants to use ethernet, so I have to enable the Integrated NIC, but after that, once it is booted into the NIC, wait for it “checking media presence …” 2 times a minute to boot Into Win I tried to adjust the boot order and so on. sometime is msi checking media presence.
Generally, there is no big mistake, but every time it starts up, it shows “checking media presence” with a few seconds waiting so I feel a little itchy. Disable the Integrated NIC is not used LAN

Method to fix checking media presence

Error when start computer: Checking media presence -The BIOS boots to the NIC . You can go to Boot list option, uncheck onboard nic . Adjust boot order or disable 2 ipv4-6

Press Control + Alt + Delete then load your BIOS or UEFI firmware interface then check to ensure your first boot device is your hard disk or SSD.

If you are connected to a wired network, disconnect from it temporarily to see if it boots.

Method 2

Update again your bios. This way surely done!

I recommend you check these methods to repair any Windows problem.

Press the Start key and type the word CMD, right click on the command prompt and select Run as administrator, enter the following commands one by one followed by the Enter key:
•- DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
•- DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
•- DISM.exe /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup
•- sfc /scannow

msi checking media presence

Check your boot order in BIOS, perhaps your SSD is not the first boot device. Go to bios to change the mode of the HDD, if not, change the boot mode, for example UEFI to another mode.
