Google photos changes hosting policy
According to an e-mail received by Google Photos users, Google will change its specific storage policy as follows:
– Starting June 1, 2021, all new photos and videos backed up in High Quality will count towards 15 GB of free storage included with your Google Account or any additional storage period you have purchased, similar to how other Google services like Google Drive and Gmail do.
– All photos and videos you back up in High Quality before June 1, 2021 are not affected by this change and will not be counted toward your Google Account storage space. This policy applies to all existing content that you upload in High Quality.
